Admission of students outside the framework of the Erasmus programme
Foreign students interested in studying at Silesian University in Opava should request application materials directly from respective faculty or institute, its study department.
The main language of instruction at Silesian University in Opava is Czech, even if there are some courses and programmes designed for English speaking students. Thus a sufficient knowledge of Czech language (B2 or higher) is necessary.
Prospective students from foreign countries have to fulfil the same admission requirements of the study programme of their choice as the Czech applicants.
Silesian University in Opava offers following study programmes with the English language of instruction:
Physics: focus (theoretical physics and astrophysics), degree (doctoral - Ph.D.), tuition fee (4100EUR).
Economics and Management: foci (Business Economics in Trade and Services or Corporate Finance or Marketing and Management), degree (bachelor - Bc.), tuition fee (1500EUR).
Economics and Management: focus (Economics and Management), degree (doctoral - Ph.D.), tuition fee (1500EUR).
